A brief biography about Maria
Maria do Carmo Raposo was born on Monday, July 17th, 1922 in Livramento, Portugal Republic Congo and passed away 14 years and 64 days ago on Wednesday, February 17th, 2010 in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Maria currently rests at Assumption Cemetary.

After her passing, Susie H. has maintained Maria's memorial site since its creation on Monday, July 5th, 2010 allowing 27,840 visitors to understand the legacy that Maria leaves behind.

From the time this site was created, visitors have made 17 additions to her memorial by signing Maria's guestbook, lighting candles and sharing their memories and stories about her, illustrating how much she is missed.

It will almost be a year since she left us I still cant drive by Tuxedo Villa with out tearing up. I miss spending lunch with her while she gobbilled up all of her lunch and 4 glasses of milk and then sit holding your hand asking how everyone was doing. I often think about her and wish she was still with us, I always thought of her as indistructible and still can't believe she's gone. Vovo you will always be in our thoughts xoxo

I will always remember the long conversations I had with her that too this day I have know idea what we talked about

I will always remember going to visit her at Tuxed Villa and she would just want to sit there holding your hand. I miss her!
